Napoleon Yancey III

Napoleon Yancey III is the attorney and President of Greater Memphis Title & Closings, a law firm focused in the area of real estate law.

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Attorney Yancey attended The University of Memphis. During this time, Mr. Yancey graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a major in finance and a focus on real-estate. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Attorney Yancey also obtained his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in law and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis as well.

Upon graduation, Attorney Yancey began work as a bank examiner with the FDIC where he examined financial institutions for compliance with federal and state law. After three years of training with the FDIC, Mr. Yancey obtained his Bank Examiner Commission. The time spent with the FDIC was invaluable as it gave Attorney Yancey extensive exposure to the TRID and other regulations which govern lending around residential and commercial transactions.

After several years examining financial institutions, Attorney Yancey partnered with Attorney Reaves to start a title and closing company. The focus of the business would be to help guide those individuals who are looking to purchase a home or business through the highs and lows associated with the process.
